Texas Health Huguley Announces Marketing Leadership Transitions

Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South is pleased to announce several leadership changes that have recently taken place. Elijah Bruette, MBA, Director of Business Development and Community Relations, has been promoted to a new role as Executive Director of Business Development and Strategy.

With Bruette's transition, Karla Dechavez, Physician Recruitment Director, has assumed the added role of Interim Director of Marketing. The final leadership change has been the promotion of Sarah Stephens to Marketing Coordinator.

"Each of these associates have been successful leaders in their individual roles as well as in furthering the Texas Health Huguley vision of being our community's most trusted health care partner for life" said Ken Finch, President and CEO of Texas Health Huguley.

Bruette will continue to oversee the strategic planning and business development activities at Texas Health Huguley. He will also have the additional oversight responsibility for the other Adventist Health System Southwest Region hospitals which include Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos, Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen and Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.

Dechavez brings experience with marketing and community activities to the Interim Director of Marketing role until a final decision is made on the Director position. She has been with Texas Health Huguley since September of 2014 as the Director of Physician Recruitment and Relations.

Sarah Stephens has been promoted to the new role of Marketing Coordinator. Stephens joined Texas Health Huguley in 2016 as the Event Specialist in the Marketing department. Her new role will include coordinating the marketing, communications and community efforts of the hospital.
